WHO ARE WE?

The existence of Rise Against Hepatitis Global Initiative (RAHGI) was as a result of the rejection and discrimination people living with hepatitis experience from various employers in their societies, coupled with the ignorance of the existence of this virus, level of transference and its silent destruction to life. RAHGI is a non-profit organization that works to prevent liver cancer caused by hepatitis among people around the globe.

OUR MISSION

  1. To cater for people living with hepatitis from the early to chronic stage by providing health care services, physical and emotional support.
  2. To create awareness and sensitization on hepatitis through campaign, seminars, media publications, one on one interactions.
  3. To contribute to the control and prevention of hepatitis by going to social gathering, educational centers, religious location, market places and villages to enlighten them about the mode of transmission of the disease and the possible ways to prevents its transmission and by conducting screening exercise and vaccination.
  4. To advocate against discrimination and stigmatization of people living with viral hepatitis among their peers, families, place of work and governing laws in their countries.
  5. To conduct researches on the widespread of viral Hepatitis as well as screening. Treatment and vaccination.

I am Oni Adesuwa Faith, born on 2nd April, 1987. I'm married to Mr Oni Olawale Stephen, with 3 children. I am a graduate of Chemical Engineering from Federal Polytechnic Bida with a Post Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering from federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) and Post Graduate Diploma of National Teachers Institute.
I worked with some organisations, among are Princess Shekinna International School, Owerri and The BroadOak School Owerri to mention few. I am currently in pursuit of my Msc program in my field of Study and in the same vain running my personal businesses.
